The private label of winemaker Steve Bird. After selling his ompany “Thornbury Vineyards” to Villa Maria in 2005 Steve and his wife Caroline established an ultra premium winemaking venture in Marlborough targeting the lucrative and very discerning export market for New Zealand fine wines.
The winemaking is strongly directed toward individual vineyard wines from distinctive aromatic white varieties and Pinot Noir. Sales in New Zealand are predominantly to private customers.
