Mondillo Vineyards
Bendigo, Central Otago, New Zealand. Here scorched hillsides still bear the scars of a gold rush long-abandoned . . . History repeats across Mondillo Vineyards' ochre terraces, as the Pinot Noir and Riesling vines liberate the riches buried within the alluvial soils.

Mondillo Vineyards Ltd owner and viticulturist Domenic Mondillo has been instrumental in developing a number of vineyards in Central Otago during the past 12 years. In 2001 he planted his own vineyard at Bendigo, which is being billed as one of the most important wine growing sub regions in Central Otago.

Mondillo Vineyards is a boutique premium wine producer with an emphasis on developing a culture of excellence from the vine to the glass. In the pursuit for perfection, Domenic meticulously nurtures the fruit from bud burst through to harvest, giving Mondillo wine the true flavours and complexity of the terroir. Mondillo Vineyards have produced award winning wines every year and can be found in a selection of fine dining restaurants, wine shops or purchased on-line at www.mondillo.com
