Pohangina Valley Estate |
Pohangina Valley Estate is a small boutique family run vineyard set in the picturesque Pohangina Valley, about 30min drive north west of Palmerston North. It sits on the western side of the Ruahine Range and is unique in that it is the only vineyard in the Manawatu.
We specialize in growing cold climate grapes – pinot noir, pinot gris and chardonnay and all the wine is produced from grapes grown on the property. The grapes are transported to our wine maker, Chris Buring of Oak House Martinborough and then returned to Pohangina for sales and distribution.
