Central Otago Pinot Noir Limited (COPNL) was established in 2003 by Central Otago Winegrowers as an independent vehicle marketing Central Otago wine (primarily to export markets) and promoting the Central Otago wine brand.COPNL’s Focus is to: • Meet the global marketing challenge through cooperative marketing. Grouping resources for marketing and promotion make this type of marketing more effective but also an economically viable option. • Work hard through promotion, coordination of events and working with media to ensure a consistent positive image for Central Otago wine. • Position Central Otago Pinot Noir at the very top of the market through regional cooperation and activities. • Make use of available Government funds through the “cluster approach”. • Encourage premium quality and protect and support the quality brand. |
