Hinton Estate
The Hinton family are well known for their production of quality stonefruit and are one of the biggest growers in New Zealand, and have since established themselves as wine producers. Howie Hinton is a fifth generation orchardist, who is also the winemaker for Hinton Estate. Along with his parents Nigel & Elisabeth and wife Sarah they all work together in the orchard and wine business. The Hinton's have recently opened a restaurant and cellar door in Christchurch called Hidden Secrets which Howie's sister Dina manages. The Hinton's were recently featured on Country Calendar.
