KEW’s estate grown grapes are sourced entirely from their unique terraced and elevated vineyard, allowing winemaker Anita Ewart-Croy to create premium estate wines. Located in the Patutahi Plateau, renowned for producing excellent quality grapes, the vineyard is comprised of Merlot, Chardonnay, Malbec and Gewürztraminer. Having grown up on a farm across the road, Simon Kirkpatrick was well aware of the potential of the site and gave up a career in oil exploration to make the dream of owning the vineyard and winery a reality. Overlooking a picturesque rural view, KEW’s cellar door offers wine tasting and antipasto throughout the year.
