Capricorn Wine Estates is a New Zealand company specialising in the production of super premium varietal wines at affordable prices. These wines are made under contract by one of New Zealand's most prestigious wineries, sourcing grapes largely from vineyards in the Gimblett Gravels Winegrowing District in Hawke's Bay, Wairarapa and Marlborough. The company has an impeccable record of being able to source high quality vineyard parcels with the wines made from vineyards carefully selected for their specialised purpose, without regional bias. This allows for the production of a range of wines, from the intensely fruity lively cool climate Sauvignon Blanc styles to the rich warm full-bodied reds from the warmer regions such as the Gimblett Gravels in Hawke's Bay. All wines are the essence of pure, intensely flavoured New Zealand wines at their best.
The wines are presented under three strongly branded labels, each with their own specialised wine style. These three brands are called Red Rock, White Rock and Strugglers Flat. As well Capricorn produces high quality exclusive label wines for carefully selected clients both in the domestic market and internationally. One such brand is called One Tree, now offered under exclusive relationships in the UK and Australia.
All wines are bottled with a screwcap closure to guarantee the purity and quality of the wine. |
