Stonecroft Wines |
Stonecroft is a genuine boutique winery, which is family owned and operated.Our first vineyard site was purchased in 1982, with the intention of producing fruit to provide the foundation for high quality wines.
Grapes are from our Mere Road Vineyard and our vineyard (Tokarahi) at Roy's Hill. Maximum effort has gone into selecting the sites and developing the vineyards to produce high quality fruit. Both vineyards are planted in very stony, free draining soil in two of Hawke's Bay's best viticulture sites. Consequently, the wine styles in general are full bodied, soft, intensely fruity wines.
All harvesting is by hand and the wine making is traditional. The whole philosophy is one of quality without compromise. |
