Orinoco Pinot Gris 2011
A rich and rewarding wine with bursting with aromas and flavours of Stonefruit, Peaches, Pears, Vanilla and Butterscotch. Fermented under controlled cool temperatures in stainless steel with regular lees stirring the resulting wine has delicious aromas, a rich and weighty palate complemented by a little residual sugar which gives the flavours a lift and encourages the drinker to come back for more.

Winemaker Notes:
Harvested during the cool of the early morning to maintain freshness and flavours. Picked at a very ripe 24 brix this Pinot Gris fruit was of the highest quality and truly picked at the perfect time. Fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel to retain all the flavours and intensity from the vineyard.
Viticulture Notes:
Sustainably grown on 2 cane VSP trained vines on the stony river flats soils of Brightwater. Yield for our 2011 vintage was controlled at 4.0 ton per acre to ensure ideal growing conditions and fruit quality.
