Nikau Point Pinot Gris 2008

Nikau Point is proud to release a new varietal -
produced from our newest vineyard, Kuranui, located in the Awatere Valley - to add to their range of award
winning wines.

 

The wine has an enticing perfumed aroma of cooked pear, lychee, peach, honeysuckle and hints of citrus. The palate introduces itself with sweet orange, then continues with peaches, pears and hints of cinnamon and clove spiciness. The silky mouth feel is complemented by a lengthy citrus backbone. A wine of good structure and a perfect example of a dry style Marlborough Pinot Gris.
