Sparkling Riesling with a touch of Pinot Noir for colour - interesting. This is always going to be a wine for popular with consumers than judges BUT that should not diminish its charm in any way. Asti in style and almost apricot in colour, the wine displays floral aromas and sweet, juicy fruit allied to lively fizz and a clean, refreshing finish. Great in summer as an aperitif and would work well with many desserts. Justifiably went down a storm in the Consumer tasting.
