Wine Notes
Winemaker Notes:
2007 was a classic Hawkes Bay vintage with a long dry, warm summer which allowed us to hang our fruit on the vines to obtain maximum ripeness. Made from Merlot grown on Gimblett Gravels. Harvested in early April 2007 at 23 Brix. Fruit was crushed and destemmed and left to soak for 2 days to extract flavour and colour from the skins
