Chard Farm Pinot Gris 2006 |
| Wine Description |
|
The wine is very intense, with excellent concentration of those elusive stonefruit flavours. Some residual sweetness makes it all very seamless. |
| Winemakers Notes |
An early spring and warm summer
has been followed by a cooler, but sunny autumn. This helped to achieve an outstanding vintage, bursting with fruit.
The aroma is a heady perfume of pears, apricots, guava and wild honey. The wine is supple, weighty and full in the mouth. Sweet fruit flavours dominate on the long lingering finish.
A perfect accompaniment to food or just sipping and enjoying. |
