Louis Jadot Appoints New Export Director
Maison Louis Jadot is delighted to announce the appointment of Vianney Gravereaux as its new Export Director, replacing Marc Dupin who is moving back to Paris following 20 happy years at Louis Jadot. Vianney will use his extensive sales and export knowledge to focus on strengthening the position of Louis Jadot in its international markets.
Vianney brings a wealth of experience to the role having worked in the wine industry for the past nine years as Export Director for Champagne Philipponnat and two years prior to this as Sales Manager for www.wineandco.com. Vianney has a background in sales and economics having studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the Paris Institute of Political Studies before joining Arthur Andersen for two years. He is a man of many languages including English, Italian and German as well as Russian.
Vianney comments on his new role: “A very exciting challenge in this new position awaits me, as well as joining a top team of professionals and wine-lovers. The wines of Jadot have never been so good and there are many opportunities to seize in the world markets today. Action lies ahead”
When not working with and tasting wine (as well as Burgundy wines, Vianney also particularly enjoys Mosel Riesling, Rhône Syrah and Oregon and Washington state Pinot Noir) Vianney can be found playing rugby, sea-kayaking or cross-country skiing.
Vianney started in his new post at Louis Jadot on the 5th May 2012.
