Chalié Richards Up-Beat About Rhythm And Booze Listings

Chalié Richards, the UK’s oldest wine merchant, has secured major new listings in Rhythm and Booze for a host of its brands, including Sir Cliff Richard’s Vida and Onda Nova wines.

As well as Sir Cliff’s range of Portuguese wines, Chalié Richards has also gained listings in Rhythm and Booze for Finca Las Moras Black Label Sauvignon Blanc and Bonarda, and a selection of interesting blends from boutique Chilean winery, Botalcura.

The northern based retailer has recently taken on a number of First Quench stores. The new listings from Chalié Richards span a range of price points and will also introduce new varietals and blends to the consumer.

Veronica Rogan, northern sales manager for Chalié Richards, commented: “We are delighted to secure these new listings in Rhythm and Booze. From Argentina we are introducing lesser-known varietals such as Bonarda, while our boutique Chilean winery is blending Malbec and Syrah with some fantastic results.

“Cliff Richard’s wines are from the Algarve, a popular tourist destination for many consumers and an up-and-coming Portuguese wine region. Ultimately, the new listings offer a point of difference which was the real attraction for Rhythm and Booze.”

The Chalié Richards wines will be available in selected Rhythm and Booze stores from February 2010.
