Another Legendary Herzog Wine Dinner
May 2008

Whilst Sauvignon Blanc put us on the International wine map, it's the potential for other grape varieties that catches the attention of wine writers around the world.

What is New Zealand capable of growing? There’s a band of innovative winemakers (e.g. brave pioneer Hans) who lead the way by exploring dif¬ferent varieties. Be the first to taste some fantastic examples of these varieties and the exciting Kiwi counterpart.

The secret is out, not only Hans experiments with Gruner Veltliner (Austria) and other “mysterious” varietals which will change the way New Zealand is perceived in the wine world. Think of great noble varietals like Tempranillo (Spain), Arneis and Nebbiolo (Piedmont, Italy).

The wines will be matched by an exciting menu from our famous chefs, reflective of the country of “origin”!
