New Focus for Carann in 2008

For the past nine years, Carann has proudly sponsored the Carann Young Achiever Award in the Nursery sector, encouraging the development and growth in our industry young people.

In 2008, Carann has chosen to increase its sponsorship to cover multiple sectors, as the company’s product range has broadened considerably.

In line with Carann’s many industry memberships, they were looking to extend their sponsorship to include different industry sectors, not just the Nursery sector.

It is with pleasure that Carann announces two new industry sponsorships in conjunction with the NZ HORTICULTURE ITO Young Horticulturist of the Year Competition to be held in November 2008.

The two sponsorships are:
“The Carann Award for Outstanding Skills & Leadership"
“The Carann Best Overall Oral & Practical Activities Award”

Carann encourages all suitable applicants to apply to enter their sector competitions and look forward to the finals in later this year, in November.
