TiZwine.com Tastings to Restart

TiZwine.com is to restart its tastings and they are FREE. Up to the end of August we will be concentrating on Sauvignon and the Aromatics. At the same time, we would be delighted to sample any other varieties that you wish us to. As before, we will be awarding a Star Rating and “Top Tip” and “Best Buy” Awards. We are also introducing a new award –“Consumers Choice”. This award will be made by a group of non-experts who will try the wines blind after our panel has finished. The idea is to find the wines that please the most important people – the average, daily consumers and to reflect the following trend:

In 1977, 67 percent of consumers cited worth-of-mouth recommendations as the single greatest factor they relied on in deciding whether to buy something. Today, that number is 92 percent.

ALL wines tasted will be published on the site together with a bottle shot and a tasting note. Alternatively, if you do not wish to send wines for us to taste, you can add a wine profile to the site yourself. Obviously, the wine will not receive a star rating or a tasting note from TiZwine and is not eligible for any awards. Again simply e mail sue@tizwine.com and she will provide you with instructions.
