An evening of fine dining and fine wines from our award winning cellar, this is your chance to experience the gastronomic and vinous delights before we go into hibernation for the winter.

Whilst New Zealand is famous for some varieties, there’s a band of winemakers who like to go against the norm and are planting varieties more famous in their traditional ‘homelands’(of which Hans Herzog is a major proponent of). For the dinner we will be showing you some classic examples of these varieties , that we will undoubtedly be seeing more of in the years to come. Grown here in New Zealand. Some of the varieties on ‘show’ include Gruner Veltliner (Austria) , Arneis (Italy), Tempranillo (Spain) and Nebbiolo (Italy).
