| Tasting Notes |
|
A brilliant pale straw colour. Shows aromas of lemon, lime and apple blossom and a lovely mineral earthiness to accentuate the floral aromatics. The palate is dry with just a hint of residual sugar to balance the refreshing acidity. Flavours of mandarin, lemon and lime run through the mid-palate with the characteristic minerality of the vineyard flowing to a long clean finish. |

Whole bunch pressed and cool fermentation in stainless steel has resulted in an intense, complex, cool climate Riesling. By teaving a trace of natural sweetness this balanced style will develop beautifully with careful cellaring and will reward those patient enough to wait a few years. |

Selectively hand picked in small batches from the company owned Waihopai Valley site. Soil in the vineyard is of stony silt with loam topsoil and free draining. Canopy Management is the vertical shoot positioning with shoot and crop thinning. |
