Bird Marlborough Pinot Gris, Old School House Vineyard 2007 |

| Winemakers Notes |
|
A period of skin contact after crushing is mandatory to achieve the weight and texture we desire, as a consequence of this approach we often see a pink hue develop in the wine. Long cool fermentation conditions in Stainless Steel tanks have allowed the elusive fruit characters of this wine to come through. |

| TiZwine Accolades |
   |
| Pears and peaches abound on the nose whilst the palate has solid, vibrant fruit characteristics. The acidity is strong but should soften in the coming months and the finish is clean, persistent and has a hint of sweetness to it. |
