Tasting Notes
Spicy oak and hints of thyme and violets complement the fruit. The palate is well rounded, showing ripe plums and blueberry. Some leathery notes and hints of fruitcake complete this wine. There is a firm structure and yet it is luscious with a sweet, soft, long finish.
Viticulture Notes
The lands that are home to this coastal vineyard today arose from their resting place under the sea in 1931. This new land, rich in Alluvion sea and beach deposits still feeds and nourishes the vines today.

There is sweet ripe fruit on the nose with leathery hints. This fruit is carried through to the palate where a splash of pepper is added. Not a complex wine but a good drink all the same.
