Colour: Pale straw
Aroma: Concentrated and lifted aromas of passionfruit and gooseberry with hints of blackcurrants and freshly cut herbs.
Palate: A refreshing wine with powerful passionfruit and gooseberry flavours with an underlying minerality shinig through. This wine is pleasingly rich with a well balanced acidity that leads to a long and lingering finish. |

After harvest the fruit was transported to the winery with haste for immediate pressing with minimal skin contact to avoid juice deterioration. After settling, each batch was cool fermented in stainless steel using selected yeasts to add complexity to the blend and to retain the fresh fruit characteristics from each of the vineyards. Shortly after completion of fermentation the wine was assessed and selected for this blend. |

The fruit was sourced from a variety of vineyards within the Marlborough region, including Cape Campbell's own vineyard in Blind River, as well as fruit from the Lower Wairau Valley and Rapaura area. Each parcel of fruit was carefully monitored during ripening so that it could be harvested at optimum maturity in cool conditions. |

| This wine has a herbaceous, almost vegetable nose that preludes its gooseberry and passionfruit flavours. The phenolics present provide good mouthfeel and there is a very subtle acidity. An easy drinking wine. |
