A brilliant pale straw green colour. Vibrant tropical fruit sromas punctuated with typically lifted Sauvignon aromatics of gooseberry, lime and passionfruit. A punchy fruit driven palate with good varietal fruit definition. The well balanced acidity matches the intense fruit flavours and drives well through the palate giving weight and length. A classic Marlborough statement. |

Machine harvested from the family owned Waihopai Valley and Wairau sites. Soil in the vineyard is of stony silt with loam topsoil and is free draining. Canopy Management is vertical shoot positioning with shoot and crop thinning. |
