| Wine Description |
This Rosé has wonderful strawberry and cream aromas.Ripe summer berry flavours that combined with crisp acidity produce a clean, refresing finish. |
| Tasting Notes |
This wine has intense strawberry and cherry aromas, while on the palate raspberry and cherry dominate. Low yields in the vineyard have provided a wonderful fruit concentration, an obvious creamy character provides complexity and adds an extra dimension to the texture of the wine. Crisp acidity gives this wine a long fresh finish. |
| Winemakers Notes |
The grapes were crushed and held on skins for 1 - 2 days to extract the desired level of colour and berry fruit flavours from the Pinot Noir, the must was then gently pressed and the resulting juice was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks. The wine were then blended, gently filtered and estate bottled |
| Viticulture Notes |
Grown on our Chaytors Road vineyard with a mixture of clones and at low yields(7 tonnes / hectare). Harvested early to give the finished wine higher natural acidity and bright berry fruit characters. |
| Cellaring |
We recommend drinking while young and fresh, however this wine will develop nicely in the bottle for a couple of years. |
