Anchorage Unoaked Chardonnay 2004 |
| Produced By
Anchorage Wines New Zealand Limited |
| Wine Description |
|
Surprising wine, tasty, showing plenty of good fruit. An alive, Chardonnay, no clutter, balanced and ready to be enjoyed. |
| Winemakers Notes |
|
Nelson Chardonnay grapes were machine-harvested and bag pressed to a juice stage and fermented in two separate batches with the yeast strain CY 3079. One batch was allowed to proceed with a 100% malolactic ferment, before being left on gross lees with an occasional stir. Both batches were blended, 30% non malolactic, 70% malolactic and then processed to bottle. |
