Made entirely from pinot noir, this delicious, salmon-pink wine is packaged in a handy 500 ml bottle. Buoyantly fruity, with strawberryish, slightly spicy and earthy flavours and a dryish, lingering finish, it's perfect for a picnic or lazy afternoon. |

The Ripe fruit characters of young Pinot Noir fruit have been captured in this unique wine. Lively aromas of raspberry candy, fresh watermelon and scones with strawberries and cream fraiche. Fresh acidity is balanced in an off dry style. This Ros- was made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes, off vines from the Martinborough Terrace. After harvesting and destemming the grapes were left in contact with the skins for 24 hours resulting in a delicate blush coloured fragrant juice. The juice was then cool fermented in tank. Perfect chilled for those long spring and summer evenings. We designed the package with this in mind, the 500ml bottle being perfect for two. We had fun making this wine and know you will have fun drinking it! |
